課程概述 |
This course focuses on enhancing students’ listening and speaking competence through task-oriented group exercises and daily matters dialogs. Taiwanese life style and Chinese culture will also be introduced to students by various demonstrations and activities. |

課程目標 |
1. 加強華語聽辨能力。To enhance listening ability in Chinese.
2. 改正錯誤發音。 To improve Chinese pronunciation.
3. 加強口說表達能力。 To express in Chinese smoothly and confidently.

出席情況Attendance and class participation 30%
隨堂小考 In-class Quizzes 20%
期中考試 Mid-term Exam 20%
期末考試 Final Exam 30%
出席情況 ATTENDANCE
Attendance is vital to class participation and will be taken and used in determining final grades. During the whole semester, students can take two leaves without any reason or advance notice of absences. From the 3rd leave, advance notices with reasons must be given by e-mails or in person, otherwise, any absence will be figured in the attendance grade (one point). Any significant tardy or early departure from class will be figured as a half absence (0.5 point).
測驗規則 RULES for QUIZZES and EXAMS
Quizzes and mid-term exam can be made up within one week, but will be taken 10% off the points you get.
No make-up exam for the final exam. Please discuss with me if you cannot attend the exam on time.
課堂要求 CLASSROOM RULES OF CONDUCT
No 3C devices can be used in the class. Turn off (or place on vibrate) cell phones and other electronic devices during class.
No breakfast in class, only drinks are allowed.
Sign your name on the attendance sheet every time and it will be counted to your attendance grade.
